Will I need to re-take the exam every year to keep my accreditation?
If alrady a LEED AP, you will need to retest 1 time within the next 2 years to become a LEED AP+-- this is for LEED-NC v3.0 (which has yet to be released). This is a new system for accreditation that involves continuing education. If you do nothing, you will become a LEED AP Legacy in two years.

What study materials do I need?
LEED-NC 2009 (v3.0) Rating System (free USGBC download-Kirksey's FTP will have a helpful "marked-up" version)
LEED-NC 2009 (v3.0) Reference Guide (USGBC member $150+ship; non-member $200+ship)
LEED-NC 2009 Project Checklist (2-page list of credits, at front of USGBC documents)
Kirksey has a colorized version that locates sections to read in reference guide for credit "calculations" & "submittals", as well as noted "reference standards" you'll need to memorize for each credit.

Is there an annual fee to maintain accreditation?
No -- not at this time. They now require continuing education.

Should I sign-up for a workshop?
If you can, the "Technical Review" is the most helpful of all the workshops. I know a few who have taken the workshop, but still could not pass the exam -- you still need to read the reference guide. http://www.usgbc.org/Workshops Click "register", then select LEED for New Construction Technical Review
