LEED for existing buildings

leed for existing buildings

These days everyone — tenants, patients, staff, faculty, students, guests — is asking questions about green building. If you’re an owner and you’re not building new, can you still go green? The answer is yes! LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance, known as LEED EBOM, is a good option to compete in the green marketplace. LEED EBOM provides goals and guidelines to green any building’s energy use, water use, purchasing practices, waste stream, interior and exterior maintenance, and more. Kirksey is currently working on over 10 million square feet of LEED EBOM projects with Hines, CB Richard Ellis, and others. We work closely with facility managers and building vendors to make the process as simple as possible, and we generate measurable results you can translate into resource savings and other benchmarking metrics.
