Unique to this green building project was the initial planning process. Kirksey hosted an Eco-workshop that involved the entire team--- owner, contractor, engineers, landscape architect, architecture team, and a green building consultant. The workshop further explored the Association's vision for their new 20,000-sf headquarters and ensured compatibility with their core values---the promotion of health and education. The American Heart Association is a fine example of Kirksey commercial architectural design. |
