A division of Baker Hughes, Inc., Baker Performance Chemicals needed a new facility in which to consolidate their operations. Kirksey designed their 40,000-sf, single-story laboratory on eight acres that included surface parking and a service yard for outdoor chemical storage and specialized air filtration equipment. The interior functions primarily as a hydrocarbon testing laboratory accommodating a range of components from hydrogen sulfide vapor operations to electromagnetic analytical equipment.
