The 8-acre wooded site of the Ventures Technology Center Buildings was developed around a series of natural and man-made lakes with fountains and waterfalls. Kirksey designed 7 buildings on the site (Ventures IV, V, VII, VIII, IX, X, and XIB), each a single story and approximately 70,000 sf, housing biomedical, energy, and communications-related laboratories.
