Tallowood Baptist Church is a growing community in a confined campus inside the Beltway. Kirksey is working to expand their sanctuary from seating for 1,100 to 2,100, which includes a 175-person choir. Tallowood is concurrently focused on the growth of their existing Sunday school program and improvements to their music rehearsal facilities. The existing campus consists primarily of two-story buildings with green courtyards and covered walkways. In striving to maintain the green spaces, Kirksey proposed new two-story buildings with 13,500 sf of music rehearsal and support spaces, 10,000 sf of administrative offices, and 35,000 sf of education space for pre-school through 6th grade. |
