Kirksey in association with Pepper Lawson Construction, won a design-build competition for a new 984-bed graduate and professional student housing complex on the University of Houston campus. This 7, 8, 9 and 10-story complex hosts a combination of studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments complete with kitchens. In addition to the residential components, the project will also contain retail space and various amenity spaces including a fitness center, nine laundry lounges, community room, two classrooms, 15 study lounges, sky lounge, movie theater and two roof-top terraces with views across the campus and city. This project is being designed to meet the needs of the target population of single and married graduate and professional students. |
