In an effort to expand on campus housing and accommodate the demolition of some aging facilities, Texas State University selected Kirksey to design a new 612-bed residence hall. Designed in a Spanish Colonial style, the facility features two identical wings consisting of residential communities that group four, two-bedroom units with a one-bedroom unit and a community bathroom. The project is scheduled for completion in 2010 with a construction cost of $42 million. |
