Nicola Springer Recipient of the 2009 Ben Brewer Young Architect Award

Award Recognizes Excellence in Architecture
HOUSTON, TEXAS — Kirksey is proud to announce that Nicola Springer, AIA, LEED AP, PreK-12 Team Leader, was awarded the 2009 Ben Brewer Young Architect award by the AIA Houston Chapter.
The Ben Brewer Young Architect Award recognizes excellence in ability and exceptional contributions by architects who are in their first 10 years of practice based on the considerations of; design, the science of construction, literature, education, service to the profession, public service, historic preservation, research, urban design, government, industry, and architectural practice.
“I have worked closely with Nicola during her entire professional career and have seen excellence in every facet of her work, community involvement and mentoring of our staff,” said Wes Good, AIA Managing Principal at Kirksey. “Nicola represents everything we look for in young architects, but rarely find.”
Nicola was also named to the Houston Business Journal’s 40 under 40. This award recognizes 40 young leaders who excel in their industries, are respected business leaders and show dynamic leadership in their community.
