Kirksey Designed Queensbury Theatre and New Town Centre One Office Complex
HOUSTON, TEXAS — Located in the Town & Country Village development in West Houston, Town Centre One will break ground September 2013. The unique complex developed by Moody Rambin and designed by Kirksey will include a 270,000-sf office building known as Town Centre One, a 100,000-sf office building known as Town Centre Two, an 8-level parking garage and a 20,000-sf community theater.
Located adjacent to both CityCentre and Town & Country, Town Centre One is sited in the pedestrian friendly hub of restaurants, retail and entertainment. The design team focused on creating a pedestrian-friendly environment that links the new complex to existing CityCentre amenities. Parking was also a significant consideration and the site boasts a parking ratio of five spaces per 1,000 sf of office space, a luxury in such a popular urban area.
Additionally, the development allows for views of downtown and provides a convenient location just east of the Energy Corridor. A lease depth of 45 feet allows for flexible lease space and ample room for large tenants. Town Centre One is designed to attain LEED Silver Certification and is expected to be completed December 2014.
