Kirksey hosts two different and separate types of LEED® sessions.

One study group is for LEED® Green Associate only and another study group for LEED® AP.

Please review information below regarding both study sessions.

Kirksey LEED® v3 AP Building Design and Construction

IMPORTANT:

These classes are designed for those who wish only to become a LEED® AP.  These are not LEED® Green Associate classes. To take the LEED AP exams, you must have previous experience with a LEED Registered Project within three years of your application submittal date.

The Green Building Certification Institute, (GBCI), website states the following as the prerequisite to sit for the AP exam:

LEED® AP

To take the LEED AP exams, you must have previous experience with a LEED Registered Project within three years of your application submittal date. This work experience must be documented in the form of a letter of attestation from a supervisor, client, or project manager and must describe your involvement on the LEED Project as a consultant, contracted worker, member of the LEED Project Team, LEED Homes Provider, LEED Commercial Reviewer, LEED Homes Green Verifier, or staff member of a Certifying Body (CB).If you are audited, GBCI auditors will review this letter of attestation.

Kirksey LEED® - Green Associate Study Group


IMPORTANT:

These classes are designed for those who wish only to become a LEED® Green Associate.

If you want to become a LEED® AP, two exams are required:

            1.  LEED® Green Associate exam

            2.  LEED® AP for Building Design (formerly NC) (or whichever track you wish to pursue)

The prerequisite to register for the Green Associate exam is either written verification that you have worked on a LEED® project OR a certificate that you have attended classes for LEED®. Upon attending two classes here at Kirksey, you will receive a certificate.
