The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch has grown dramatically from small groups meeting in neighbors’ living rooms to quickly outgrowing their Phase I building of 18,000 SF. Fellowship desired a new space that expressed their youthful, open-minded attitude on the inside while respecting their context in a traditional residential area. Since 2004, Kirksey has worked closely with the building committee and Congregation Elders to develop a comprehensive master plan as well as a new mixed-use building of 30,000 SF. Phase II expanded their worship capacity from 250 seats to 750 seats while having a community focus. The worship space doubles as a gym for the neighboring YMCA and the broader community at large. An outdoor baptistery, water feature and plaza greet visitors as well as a community coffee shop that supports outreach efforts of the church with its profits.
