Thor Equities, a New York-based developer has developed this mixed-use project on a 3.2 acre development site inside “The Loop” in the Upper Kirby District of Houston. Keating Kahn Architects is the design architect and Kirksey is the architect of record. The location bridges Houston’s two most affluent communities, River Oaks and West University, and the downtown business district.

The site is bounded by Kirby Drive to the east, one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares, Main Street to the North, Lake Street to the west, and Colquitt Street to the south. This vertical mixed-use development consists of a 25-story, 385,000-sf high-end residential tower, housing 199 units, with amenity spaces; two levels of prime retail space totaling 61,600-sf; and a 13-story, 200,000-sf commercial Class-A office tower including one floor of below grade parking and 5 floors of above grade street parking. Construction started in 2015 with an anticipated completion date of first quarter 2018.
