Adjacent to the Texas Medical Center, the 12-story Life Science Plaza is a medical office tower and mixed-use garage complex that offers lease space for hospital function. Atop the garage, the 260,000-sf seven-story medical tower houses two levels of long-term acute care (70 beds), three levels of medical office space, and two levels of day surgery, each with four surgical suites.

Complementary materials visually integrate the medical office portion of the complex with the garage, which uses decorative aluminum screening and glass accents to soften its presence at street level. Additionally, the 865-car garage incorporates 52,000 sf of retail lease space and a health club—attractive amenities for potential tenants and convenient services for area Medical Center employees. A plaza and garden along the west side of the development enhance the entrance to the residential subdivision.
