Founded in 1955 in Forth Worth, Texas, Shady Oaks Country Club is a private member club with approximately 950 members. In 2003, the Club retained Kirksey as the Design Architect for their new 36,000-sf clubhouse. The project was on a 13-month fast-track design and construction schedule due to fire damage which rendered the existing facility unusable.

Home to famous pro-golfer Ben Hogan, the new design of Shady Oaks incorporates three food and beverage areas, a banquet facility, locker rooms and a pro shop. The club has now become one of Forth Worth’s favorite dining and entertaining venues.
