Earning a LEED Gold rating, the campus was designed by three architectural firms Kirksey–interior architect, HOK–core, shell and public space architect and Kendall Heaton–architect of record working collaboratively under the direction of the developer Hines. The new facility serves as the main office for the Fortune 100 company – America’s largest foodservice supplier with $35 billion in annual revenue. It consists of two high-rise office towers connected by an elevated walkway to a unifying amenities building containing a Product Evaluation Center, auditorium, meeting rooms, fitness center, multi-purpose kitchen, fine dining, training center, and hospitality space for customers and employees. Executive offices are located on the second floor for visibility and ease of access. Extensive programming and innovative planning was utilized to provide an efficient, open-concept design solution. In keeping with the daylighting goals of the project, the interior design emphasizes lightness of materials, transparency and access to views.
