Vegas Tower will Feature Larger Guest Rooms and Penthouse Suites

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — The Golden Nugget Casino’s new 500-room Rush Tower has opened in downtown Las Vegas. Landry’s Restaurants Inc. brought on the Houston-based architecture firm, Kirksey, for the $150-million, 476,000-sf hotel-casino expansion project. Las Vegas-based PENTA Building Group was the general contractor.

Rush Tower features larger guest rooms, four penthouse suites and 70 junior corner suites, a floating reservation desk and a 75,000-gallon tropical aquarium fish tank. Other amenities include the upscale Chart House Aquarium restaurant, and a two-level, infinity-edge pool with cabanas and covered lounging areas. Guests will also enjoy an expanded casino floor. The 25-story expansion has its own porté cochere accented by a new landscaped entrance located at First Street and Carson Street.
