Project Features

For many people in the Houston area, they dream of furthering their education, but don’t always have the means to do so. Over the past year, HCC has consolidated 23 campuses into 13 “Centers of Excellence” to focus not only on academics, but workforce training as well. Retiring baby boomers mean the creation of nearly one million new manufacturing jobs and healthcare jobs over the next several years. This new HCC Brays Oaks Workforce Training Center brings new career opportunities to these communities through skilled training in the healthcare and service industry including retail and restaurants.

The HCC Brays Oaks location is a 28,000 sf facility that offers fast-track technology and healthcare training, along with GED education, phlebotomy and ESL. It is certified LEED Gold.

These centers are truly an investment in the community to help fill a growing need for future career opportunities through skilled workforce training.
