These four separate projects consist of two new workforce centers for continuing education (Brays Oaks and Stafford), a Center for Entrepreneurship, Technology and Health (CETH) in Missouri City, as well as a new parking garage and student plaza (West Loop). The workforce centers include new labs, a center for manufacturing, multi-purpose rooms, academic spaces, conference rooms and administration. The CETH incorporates classrooms, computer labs, a biology lab, as well as multi-purpose space for the Center for Entrepreneurship. To accommodate the needs of the health career programs, the CETH building consists of a satellite facility with specialized instructional spaces and clinical labs for HCC’s nursing, medical assisting, respiratory therapy, retail pharmacy, health information technology and mental health programs. The West Loop project not only incorporates a parking garage, but also storefront office space as well as a large outdoor plaza and recreation space for student activities.
