Kirksey has been providing on-going services for the Houstonian hotel, club and spa for 10 years. At the hotel, we have masterplaned an addition of 50 exclusive villas near the resort pool that are to be built. In 2003, we renovated all the guestroom bathrooms, one wing at a time and over one summer. In 2005, we renovated all the guestrooms with new furniture and finishes, the public corridors, renovated all the suites and created the new exclusive Capitol Suites. Additionally, we designed the new poolhouse for the new resort and lap pools in 2006. The Houstonian Hotel is a 284-key hotel that is tucked into a beautifully landscaped respite — a well-hidden treasure within the City. Perhaps the hotel’s most famous guest was President George Bush. It was called the “West White House” during his vacations back home to Houston during his terms.
