Kirksey Architecture promotes Paul Newsoroff to Director of Commercial Projects

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Kirksey promotes Paul Newsoroff, AIA, to Director of Commercial Projects. Paul joined Kirksey in 2004 and takes on this leadership role after many years as a senior project manager on the Commercial Projects team.

Kirksey's Commercial Projects team has been shaping skylines since the company's founding in 1971. Commercial office buildings have been a mainstay of the firm's practice, and the team has developed a reputation for their considerable expertise. Paul is a veteran of the corporate architecture landscape and has built a strong portfolio of work and an even more robust network in the corporate real estate community. Scott Wilkinson led the team for more than three decades prior to his retirement and strategically prepared Paul and the team for the transition over the last few years. "Paul is a natural leader," Wilkinson remarked, "I knew he would be a great fit and take over the role seamlessly."

Paul's experience in the commercial sector and his relationships throughout the industry made the shift in team leadership simple. His work on projects like the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise corporate campus, Crown Castle International headquarters, Heights Central Station, and the upcoming Emancipation Center encapsulate his broad range of experience, from corporate office and mixed-use to impactful community projects. Kirksey's President, Wes Good, knew Paul's project experience alone made him a good fit for the role of Director, but his commitment to client service set him apart. "Paul's work as an architect is as good as it gets, but his ability to build relationships and go the extra mile for clients, every single time, is what makes him great," notes Wes.

Paul is a graduate of Texas A&M University, has managed more than 100 projects for Kirksey, and currently serves on the NAIOP Board of Directors.
