The Wayne Robert ’85 Building Marks a New Chapter of Innovation and Collaboration at Mays Business School

Several members of the Kirksey project team recently joined leadership from Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M University System to mark the official opening of the new Wayne Robert ’85 Building at Mays Business School in College Station.

The event featured tours of the new facility, including its modern common areas, a new café, and architecturally distinctive spaces such as the expansive lobby and curved corridor walls. Leaders from across the university described the building as “a beacon of innovation,” “a visible commitment to our students,” and “an investment in becoming the No. 1 public business school in the country.”

The project team, including designers and experts who contributed to the building’s development, were recognized for their collaboration and contributions.

The opening represents a significant milestone for Mays Business School and the broader Texas A&M community, signaling both growth and a long-term commitment to student success and academic excellence.
