The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston enrolls more than 10,000 children from low-income families around the area and chose the Richmond-Rosenberg area to expand their services. The club was inspired by the energetic children who would occupy the building and was designed to be durable with an adventurous spirit.

The one-story, 21,600 sf insulated tilt-wall building houses classrooms, a breakroom, art room, a full-size regulation basketball and volleyball court with six retractable goals, a snack area, laundry room, and conference room for internal staff meetings. The building serves as a beacon in the neighborhood, incorporating fun, upbeat colors to mimic the organization’s brand image and attract area youth. Windows throughout the building allow easy visibility for staff to safely watch over all the children during activities.
