The CYVIZ Technology Center Houston project is a 7,000 sf technology showroom for a Norweigian-based projection and technology company serving mainly oil and oil services companies. The showroom, which encompasses a museum-like setting, demonstrates CYVIZ’s proprietary projection technologies which are usually associated with “dark caves.” In this solution, the space is a humanized, light-filled interior. The technology is not hidden but integrated into the architecture and becomes part of the actual functioning conferencing and video-conferencing spaces. Hospitality elements highlight the showroom and provide accommodations for groups ranging from 4 to 70 people. The showroom also functions as a sales office with provisions for a staff of six and was designed to easily incorporate technology changes and future expansion.
