Founded in 1923, River Oaks Country Club is a private member club with approximately 1500 members. It is one of the most highly regarded and exclusive private clubs in the South. Kirksey has been providing on-going services for the club for over 15 years. In 1994, the clubhouse was 94,000 sf and Kirksey was commissioned to renovate all the lobby areas, Men’s Grill, Hunt Room, Garden Room, Garden Terrace, men’s & women’s exercise rooms, add a new grill kitchen, new mangament offices, and new golf pro shop. In 2003, Kirksey was commissioned to add an additional 40,000 sf to the club in order to create a pre-fuction for the ballroom, renovate the ballroom, banquet kitchen, women’s locker room, add a new back-of-house, new bar and a new outdoor/indoor terrace.  In 2006, we were asked to begin masterplanning for a new 298-car parking garage and 18,900-sf fitness center. Currently, we have just completed renovating the third floor meeting rooms and are beginning plans for renovating the men’s locker room in the Main Clubhouse.
