Kirksey is looking for a BIM Manager to join our dynamic Project Delivery Team. Candidate's role will include Revit support, training staff to become proficient in BIM workflows, and lead the firm towards innovative Digital Practices.

The candidate will be part of the Project Delivery (PD) department which is a dedicated team focused on innovation and developing better, faster, and smarter digital workflows in Architecture. PD is a support department focused on developing standards, implementing new tools, training staff, and developing efficiencies to provide consistency across the firm. Candidate should: (1) be an expert Revit user, (2) provide excellent Revit support, (3) be a leader and innovative thinker.

Location:

Position is open across all Kirksey offices (Houston, Austin and Dallas)

• Support: Provide daily Revit + Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360/ACC) support to project teams in across all our offices (Houston, Austin, Dallas).
• Train: Responsible for overall Revit + ACC/BIM 360 training programs throughout the firm to include, weekly tips and tricks, new employee training, individual staff training.
• Leadership: Power User Group —co-lead the Power User Group monthly meetings, Present new developments and strategic initiatives at firm wide meetings.
• Innovation: Provide critical thinking approach to the way we practice and produce Architecture, by embracing technology and innovation that continuously improves the design process.
• Misc: Templates – co-manage the Revit template update with the Power User Group. Content creation – co-manage the Kirksey Revit family library. Software deployment and updates – work with the IT department to manage the deployment of Revit and other ancillary BIM tools. Tools – work with Project Delivery department to continue researching and developing efficiency tools that streamline our Project Delivery process. Participate in Revit/BIM organizations and national conferences. Coordination – support project teams by meeting with engineering consultants and contractors to refine BIM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or equal degree with 10+ years of experience in an AEC industry
• Expert user in Revit + Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360/ACC), with experience providing one on one Revit support
• Large firm experience preferred. Experience with Revit training within a large firm environment
• Computational design experience preferred.
